Our Story

Diana's areas of Nursing experience include: Critical care nurse, cath lab, angiogram special procedures, open heart, MSICU, neuro ICU, Telemetry, medical surgical, home health, Nursing home supervisor and staff nurse, dialysis nurse, educator.

MSICU Centennial Medical Center, HCA corporate-Nashville, TN 2005-2006

Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist: intubated clients

  • CNS for 32 bed Neuro ICU, with ventriculostomies, Multisystem, cardiac, respiratory and septic patients.

  • Responsible for over 100 RNs

  • Still worked at the bedside

  • Responsible for all competencies, orientation of new staff

  • Developed preceptor program, critical care orientation manual and 90 day check list

  • Developed K & mag protocol, Avian Flu Ventilation Policy, and worked on DT protocol

    • Coordinated and taught: Neuro workshop, Critical Care orientation classes, basic EKG classes and numerous AACN CCRN review in services

    • Responsible for filling out state nursing association CEU and education design application

    • Served as clinical resource

    • Started Local Chapter of the AACN in Nashville, The Nashville Regional chapter, and was mentioned in the AACN critical care newspaper (July edition) for being the #1 leader in the nation in membership recruitment

    • Serve on numerous committees: code blue, medication delay, nursing leadership and much more
